Mark Bowden

Mark is a Founding Partner of Caisson and a member of the Executive Management Board, responsible for the strategic direction of the business.  On a day-to-day basis he is responsible for the Asset Management Team and implementation of property business plans.

Mark has over 25 years’ experience in the multi-let industrial and multi-tenant property sectors, commencing with Industrial Securities then moving to The iO Group (now Cromwell Property Group).  He has worked in over ten countries within Europe, establishing The iO Group’s pan-European asset management platform to service the first cross-border institutional investor, multi-let industrial funds, totalling €3.5bn.

He has experience in running diverse teams of skills and personalities as well as the operational resources and requirements that go hand-in-hand with this.  He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor, educated to Masters level in International Property Development & Management.  

Mark has grown up in the property business, experiencing all aspects from hands-on construction through to institutional fund management.  He is fascinated by human trends and what type of demands this will create in real estate.  If not doing this, he likes to be riding mountain bikes on remote locations - often with James Ward!
