Hugh Bolton

Hugh joined Caisson in November 2017 as Fund Controller and now heads up the Fund Accounting department. 

Hugh started his professional career at Touche Ross & Co (now Deloitte) qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1998.  In 2000, he joined MWB Group as Head Office Accountant, setting up and maintaining all accounting, financial and loan covenant reporting for the Malmaison hotel chain.

Hugh joined Arlington Property Investors (later re-acquired by Aberdeen Asset Management) in 2006 and, as Financial Controller, then as Head of Fund Accounting UK from 2010 to 2016, he was responsible for accounting, reporting and risk management processes across multiple direct and indirect property portfolios, with assets between £20m and £1.4bn.

Hugh’s experience covers both in-house and outsourced property operating models and extensive design, adaptation and standardisation of reporting processes.

Hugh holds a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge.

In his spare time, Hugh enjoys taking part in triathlons and is an avid cyclist.
