Knight Frank has been appointed to market a 190,000 sq ft warehouse in Kidsgrove, known as

Talke 16.

The warehouse, which is located near to Crewe, is owned by Parabola and asset managed by Caisson. Knight Frank has been appointed as the letting agent after a four-month refurbishment of the warehouse was announced by the owners, including new cladding on the elevations and roof, upgraded lighting and work to keep the building’s height uniform throughout.

Rob Taylor, head of Knight Frank’s North West Logistics and Industrial Team says: “This is a prime distribution location, which is already attracting interest from several potential occupiers. The investment in the building will make it one of the biggest and best sheds available in the region, in particular along the M6 corridor.

He says there is ‘not enough Grade A stock to meet occupiers’ requirements’ in the region, adding: “As a result, landlords that are willing to invest in secondhand sheds in prime locations such as this can help to meet the strong occupier demand, particularly for units above 100,000 sq ft across the North West”.

Barry Woods, Parabola Investment director ‎says: ”Talke 16 forms part of our strategy to comprehensively refurbish industrial buildings with strong fundamentals, ensuring they are of a high standard to meet modern occupier requirements.”

Moriarty & Company has been appointed as the joint agent

Caisson passed with flying colours and more to the point resolved any problems as they arose in such a way they weren’t really problems. It's been a pleasure doing business with them.
