Caisson Investment Management at MIPIM 2018

Caisson Investment Management, the specialist Multi-let Industrial (“MLI”) Investor and Asset Manager, will be attending MIPIM again this year to meet both equity investors and asset owners, with a view to updating them on the UK MLI market.

Founding Partners David Carter, Philip Stott, and Mark Bowden will be in Cannes, together with Partner James Ward, Asset Manager Dan Maynard, and James Burgess, a new addition to the Acquisitions Team who joins in March as Acquisitions Manager.

Caisson has acquired by value over £665.0m of assets since inception.  Focusing on the industrial sector, the firm places a strong twin emphasis on investment analysis and asset management.

Our reputation for outperformance has been built on this strong analytical approach, backed by in-house property research combined with rigorous asset management.  These core Caisson values have resulted in constant outperformance of our assets under management since inception in 2009.

“The sector is at an exciting stage with healthy liquidity and a strong and deepening occupational sector resulting in an expected sustained rental growth cycle” said David Carter, Managing Partner.

“Caisson’s asset management outperformance has consistently exceeded business plan underwriting since our inception” stated Mark Bowden, Property Partner.

“Our in-house database Panther now has over £18.0bn of MLI specific investment information.  This forms a powerful tool in our acquisition process, enabling us to source well and identify assets that allow the Caisson asset management approach to unlock value whereas other owners might not.  We look forward to meeting investors over the week” added Philip Stott, Investment Partner.

Notes:  Nearly £2.4bn of pure MLI investments came to market last year.  In the first two months of 2018 over £600.0m has been transacted, which based on historic trends points to year end volumes ranging between £2.5 - 3.0bn. (source: Caisson – Panther).
